Pub owner hasn't been seen in public in nearly two months.
By Rodney Clanstone, for The Sun.
In the five months since her stunning pools win, Hippolyta Daphne Hollister (30, Mayfair) has been a source of understandable curiosity and speculation. The stunning blonde bachelorette has become something of of a local folk heroine, coming out of nowhere with a Cinderella story that would melt even the heart of Ebeneezer Scrooge.
However, Cinderella's Happily Ever After does not seem to be in evidence for Miss Hollister. Approximately three months ago, Miss Hollister stopped showing up at her business regularly, and for the last six weeks, hasn't been seen in public once. She has apparently moved out of her opulent Mayfair apartment, as it's been empty since the end of March. No forwarding address has been left.
"I don't know what happened to her," claims Edwin Carter, 47, landlord of the building Miss Hollister used to occupy. "One day she just up and vanished. I'm going to put her flat on the market soon, if she doesn't come back."
Miss Hollister has been romantically linked to a strange man, name and origins unknown, who would often be seen coming and going from her flat. (See insert.) However, this man has also not been seen since approximately the end of December.

The police refuse to speculate as to whether or not this man has anything to do with her disappearance. "We've had no reports of anything untoward," replied Officer George Wainwright, 39, of the London Metropolitan Police. "Therefore we have no reason to investigate."
When approached at H.D. Hollister's, Ian McKennon, 32, bartender, confessed his ignorance as to her whereabouts as well.
Is this the result of an eccentric shut in hiding herself from the ever-watchful eye of the press? Or is there something more sinister at work? The Sun refuses to speculate. However, rest assured that we will be keeping the public updated on this tragic story.
((OOC: This story ran in today's Sun, a tabloid in London known for its Page 3 girls. This is what happens when you use magic to hide in a non-magic world, ladies and gents...))

Hm. It would be insanely convenient if he lived in the same dimension as HD Hollister's and din't have to go through the Nexus to get there, but I also don't want to infringe on anybody else's dimension.))

Date: 2006-06-05 07:20 pm (UTC)Well, I tend to work on the assumption that everybody is from and lives in their 'origin' universe unless otherwise stated. But that's just me. ;) ))
