Second, I'd like to say a quick word on Hips' accent, just for the record.
She spent 11 years of her life in a ship manned primarily by Brits and other Europeans. Then she moved to London proper. So her basic mid-western American accent has a few odd vowel sounds in it. The occasional 'ah' vs. 'eh.' "Al-oo-MIN-ee-um" vs. "Uh-LOOH-min-um." Stuff like that. And she will, every so often, deliberately make it moreso, just to be a brat.
THIRD AND LAST HONEST
Starting Sunday, I'm going into Tour Guide training once again. HOORAY! This means that my RP time will be HELLA reduced. BOO! I still love you, but until training is over, I'm effectively on hiatus. It's a three week course, five days a week, eight hours a day. Doing the tour over, and over, and over...
