I can't think of him as your son yet. He's just... this lumpy bit on a sonogram. As soon as you send around those birth announcements with the soft-edged photo in the hospital bassinet I'll start thinking of him as a separate entity. You know I have no experience in those things. I'll happily be the amusing uncle who teaches him slightly rude behaviors though, and I'll get him lots of wonderful works of literature every boy should read.
